The class is intended for individuals who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency due to work or regulatory requirements, and where a provider card is necessary. *It is also for anyone who wants to learn CPR and how to operate an AED:

*The Family & Friends course teaches CPR, but its shorter length (2 ½ hours  instead of 4 hours of instruction) provides less hands-on practice.

The Heartsaver CPR course teaches how to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies such as heart attack, stroke and choking. The class covers:

AED Awareness

The Heartsaver AED course teaches all of the above, plus includes hands-on training in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Both courses include textbook w/CD-ROM and completion card.
